My first experience with Bonfire was in 1987 when I first saw the video for the single “I’m Sleeping all Alone” on the bands second release “Fireworks”.  Here it is 16 years later and I’m still amazed that the band faired no better than what they have in the states.  “I’m Sleeping all Alone” is just as good if not better in a lot of way than most of the stuff that was being released in ’87.
“Live over Europe” has 17 blistering Bonfire tracks recorded live in support of the bands last studio release “Strike Ten”.  The seventeen tracks include such classics as; “Daytona Nights”, “Don´t Touch the Light”, “Down to Atlanta”, “Who`s Foolin’ Who”, and “Until the Last Goodbye”.  My one and only complaint with the set this was the band not performing, “I’m Sleeping all Alone”.  Other than that the band has a huge live sound.  All the instruments on are mixed well unlike some live CD’s where the guitars are turned up so loud the over power everything else.  “Live over Europe” would add to any Bonfire fans collection especially the American fans who will probably never get the chance to see the band live.
